Harley Accessories – Chrome and An American Classic

There is no other motorcycle, no other machine of any type, as unique as a Harley-Davidson. The distinctive exhaust note that rumbles from a block away and the sea of chrome on wheels that are the trademarks of just about all Harleys are unmistakable. They are a true American classic. Loved and coveted the world over, but completely American. Harley accessories are more common than parts for just about any other bike. There is no mistaking a Harley for anything other than what it is. They are beautiful and powerful and almost no two are alike.

Harleys are one of only two American manufacturers that made it through the Great Depression. They have survived competition from Japanese bike builders, and never left their roots in Milwaukee. No other bike company can brag about the kind of brand loyalty that Harley has. No other motorcycle is as customizable as a Harley. There are Harley accessories for everything that an owner could want and some that most have never thought of. After all, there would be no such thing as choppers if it weren’t for Harleys. If there is another bike that represents freedom and adventure as well as a Harley, I’d like to know about it.

Harley accessories range from mild to wild and cover everything from the tiniest chrome part to bikinis. You can spot a Harley owner even if they are miles away from their bike just by the clothes that they are wearing. Motorcycle rallies are more about Harley-Davidsons than all the other bikes combined. There is even a special “Harley Edition” pickup truck, which may be the ultimate motorcycle accessory. In the world of motorcycles, a Harley is completely unique from every other make and model out there. Most hog riders would rather walk than be seen on anything else.

When it comes to expressing yourself through a machine, there is really no better way than with a Harley. Just about anything is possible with the Harley accessories that are available these days. A custom Harley, whether it is a slightly tricked out fat boy or crazy hand built chopper, tells a story about the person on it. The hard part is choosing just what you want your bike to say about you. No matter how many Harleys are out there, just about every one is different from the next. In my opinion, when comes to classic American style, chrome is a color.
